SEEKING:

POLLOCK, GARSHIN, & OTHERS – Male (cis, trans, or non-binary), late 20s - early 40s, any ethnicity, pop tenor. Portrays multiple dynamic characters that come from Gavin’s imagination as he experiences the art of The Met, including a fantasized version of Jackson Pollock, a romantic composer/pianist, a young lover, a late 19th century Russian pacifist, an ex-boyfriend, and a fellow museum novice.

JUDITH – Female (cis, trans, or non-binary), mid 20s – mid 30s, any ethnicity, strong flexible mezzo/mix-belt voice with a pop sensibility. Portrays JUDITH – based on the biblical story, Judith is a quiet young widow who, as her town is about to be besieged by an army led by a tyrannical general named Holofernes, summons the courage to sneak into the enemy camp, seduce and intoxicate the general, and while he is sleeping, decapitate him, thus bringing about victory for her people. Judith awakens to her destiny and discovers a power within herself that she never knew she possessed. She is the character that most powerfully inspires Gavin to face his greatest fear.

GAVIN – 40s, a museum novice. CAST
