BREAKDOWN

SEEKING:

[LINCOLN UNDERSTUDY] Black man in his mid-late 30s, the topdog. Experienced and slick in the ways of the world but burned out. Works as an Abraham Lincoln impersonator in an arcade to pay the bills. Smooth, charming, intelligent; loves his brother, but also loves winning. Thrown out by his wife and sleeping on his brother Booth’s easy chair. Generous with money and resources. A reformed 3-card street hustler. Making a living, but not a life.

[BOOTH UNDERSTUDY] Black man in his mid 30s. “aka 3-Card”, the underdog, a hustler. Hot-blooded younger brother of Lincoln. Eager to make a name for himself. Hardworking, but clumsier than his brother. Insecure and wants to impress Lincoln. Lonely. Sticky fingers. Obsessed with making money and attracting women. Worried he can't live up to his big brother's example. A longtime loser ready to turn the tables.
