For this show, Book-It is working under the Equity SPT Tier 6 agreement while at Café Nordo. The Equity cast members will not be serving food or in any way participate in the food or drinks delivery processes.

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

BREAKDOWN

Sam Spade - 30s - a hardboiled private detective who looks rather pleasantly like a blond satan. Smart, cynical, and untrusting, he follows a professional code of ethics, but is willing to bend the rules.

Mr. Gutman/Ensemble - late 40s - 60s - arch-villain, wealthy, cunning, and obsessed with the Maltese falcon. Described as the fat man.

Dundy/Ensemble - 30s-40s - various male ensemble roles including Lt. Dundy, an arrogant and incompetent police officer


All roles are open to actors of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
