Breakdown
11th Hour Theatre Company is seeking Philadelphia-area actors who sing for our final production of the 2012-2013 Season, Jason Robert Brown's The Last Five Years. Megan Nicole O'Brien directs. Performances will take place at the Caplan Studio Theatre at University of the Arts.
KATHY HIATT Soprano Mix/Belt. 20-35 years old. Excellent actress and singer. We see her perspective on the relationship from the end to the very beginning. At the beginning of the relationship, she is an ambitious, aspiring actress, but her dreams of love are more important than her career. At her best, Kathy is endearing, witty, charismatic and realistic. At her worst, she is insecure, needy, and jealous.?
JAMIE WELLERSTEIN, Tenor. 20-35 years-old. Excellent actor and singer. We see his perspective on the relationship from beginning to end. At the beginning, he is an ambitious writer, who falls in love with Kathy, but his rapidly growing career is his priority. At his best, Jamie is charismatic, talented, enthusiastic, and charming. At his worst, he is egotistical, self-centered and deceitful.
