[FRANCESCA] she/her. late 30s-early 50s. Strong Mezzo-Soprano (legit Soprano, with belt). A beautiful Italian woman, generous, luminous, and funny, now the mother of two teenagers, married to a farmer and living in Iowa. Intimacy is required for this role. Possible nudity to be discussed.

[ROBERT KINCAIID] he/him. 40-50s. Baritone. A ruggedly handsome, worldly, visionary photographer. A nomad looking for his place. Intimacy is required for this role. Possible nudity to be discussed.

[RICHARD 'BUD' JOHNSON] he/him. Mid 40s-early 50s. Baritone. Francesca’s husband. An Iowa farmer, a good guy, diligent and dependable, but always exhausted and irritated that things haven’t gotten easier. Intimacy is required for this role.
