SEEKING

Equity actors for Second City - Chicago - 2024 General auditions.

We are seeking improvisational acting talent to cast as understudies for the Chicago Touring Company and other upcoming projects. You must be a graduate of an improv and sketch comedy institution (i.e. The Second City Conservatory, iO, UCB, The Pit, The Magnet, The Annoyance Theater, etc.) to be considered for an audition slot. Improv and sketch comedy experience is a plus. If offered the role of understudy, you must reside in Chicago, IL. We do not pay a relocation fee for these projects.

Please submit your headshot and resume for consideration. You must be a graduate of a recognized improv and sketch comedy institution. Any submissions sent after the deadline will not be considered.

Audition appointments in Chicago, IL for April 8, 9, 10 with call backs on April 12.

Group auditions last 30 minutes and we have 11 slots per day. Starting at 9:45 AM and ending at 5pm.

If you have conflicts with the April audition dates, there will be another round of auditions in 2025. 2025 audition dates are to be determined.

These are improvised auditions, and we are not seeing actors for traditional scripted plays or roles.
