Odessa Blue, an African American woman in her sixties - owner of the Fifth Avenue Happy Café, a kosher soul food restaurant, and a former civil rights activist - widow of a white Jewish man.
Square Blue, an African American man in his forties - Odessa's son - reparations artist/activist - also runs the Cafe.
Karma Philosophical Blue, an African American woman in her twenties - Odessa's granddaughter - AIDS and LGBTQ rights artist/performance art activist.
Miss Tuesday, an African American woman in her fifties - lover of Square.
Lola, a Latin woman in her twenties - lover of Karma and also an activist.
Ensemble, multiple roles including Nude Models, Police Officer, Federal Agent, News Reporter, President, and Off-Stage Voices.
