THE PLAY TAKES PLACE IN LONDON. ALL ACTORS MUST BE ABLE TO DO A STRONG, CREDIBLE BRITISH ACCENT. ALL ACTORS SHOULD HAVE STRONG COMIC SKILLS

Preparation
Please prepare a short comic monologue from a contemporary play.

Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together.

Other Dates
1st rehearsal: July 8, 2013 in Wisconsin. Runs July 25, 2013 – September 1, 2013.

John Smith – Character leading man , 30’s, unassuming with a secret life, quick-witted, inventive

Mary Smith – Leading lady, 20’s, attractive

Barbara Smith - Same as Mary

Detective Sergeant Troughton – Young police detective, very earnest

Detective Sergeant Porterhouse – Older police detective, more seasoned, bemused

Bobby Franklin – Flamboyant, effeminate dress designer, one of John Smith’s upstairs neighbors

Stanley Gardner – John Smith’s other upstairs neighbor, brash, wise-cracking, smart but lazy, a good friend
