SEEKING: All Gender Identity Singers. All cast must be strong singers and good movers as they will participate in musical numbers in addition to playing multiple roles.
[LLOYD PRICE] Male-identifying, Black, 25- 50 years old. Legendary singer and songwriter; the protagonist of the story. ALREADY CAST
[HAROLD LOGAN] Male-identifying, Black, 35- 55 years old. Short, around 5'4, built like a brick wall. A loveable gangster, Loyal to Lloyd Price; he becomes his partner in music. ALREADY CAST
[EMMA] Female-identifying, Black 20- 25 years old. Lloyd Price’s wife. Very beautiful and confident, slightly troubled, a woman that speaks her mind. Should be a strong Mover/Dancer.
[YOUNG LLOYD PRICE] Male-identifying, Black, 18- 25 years old. To play Lloyd Price as a young man growing up in Kenner, New Orleans.
Local Philadelphia actors encouraged to submit.
