Equity actors for roles in LIFE IS A DREAM. A note on style: for this production we are actively seeking highly physical actors who are strong with classical text and clown to bring this absurdist Fornés classic to life.

[ASTOLFO] Mid 20s-Mid 30s. Latino, man. Basilio's nephew- Segismund’s cousin, and Rosaura’s former lover. Astolfo is the Duke of Muscovy, and he comes to Poland to convince his uncle, whom Astolfo believes to be childless, to make him the new king.

[ESTRELLA] Mid 20s-Mid 30s. Latina, woman. Basilio's Niece - a princess, King Basilio’s niece, and Astolfo’s love interest. Like her cousin Astolfo, Estrella wants to ascend the throne when she believes her uncle to be childless.

[CLOTALDO] 40-60, Latino, man. A General in Basilio's Service - is Segismund’s jailer, Basilio’s faithful servant, and Rosaura’s father.
