$506 weekly minimum (Tier 6) - plus housing and transportation from New York and pension contributions as well as health insurance.

Cape May Stage provides a house with four bedrooms and two bathrooms and all kitchen needs as well as all bed linens and towels. There is cable TV and wi-fi and washers and dryers at the house. Common areas are shared with every actor having their own locked bedroom. No pets are permitted at the company house.

BREAKDOWN

Equity encourages everyone participating in the auditions to wear a two-ply cloth face mask, surgical
mask, singer’s mask or respirator (N95, KN95 or KF94). Single-ply face masks, gaiters and bandanas
are not recommended. Singer’s masks can be found at www.broadwayreliefproject.com/singersmask.
Equity encourages members to prepare for their audition prior to arriving at the audition venue, to the
extent that they can (e.g., get dressed, hair/make-up, etc.) to avoid crowding in bathrooms and
dressing rooms.

Holding/Audition room information:

The audition room can accommodate no more than 28 individuals at a time.

Performances Wednesday through Saturdays at 7:00 and Sunday matinee at 3:00 pm

Shirley Valentine: female, 40s – plus – Liverpool accent, working class wife with great comic timing,
vulnerable, powerful, sense of humor, brutally honest, sensual, - solo performance.

“ART”

rehearsing July 4 to July 18 with a preview July 19, opening July 20 and closing August 27, 2023.
Performances Tuesday through Sunday at 7:30 pm. No matinees.

Seeking:

Marc: male 40s plus, aeronautical engineer, aggressive, strong, blunt – good with language
Serge: male 40’s plus, buys expensive white painting, vulnerable, open, sensitive, good with language
Yvan: male 40s plus, new job selling stationary after a lifetime in textiles, getting married in two weeks,
tries to bring friends together and gets in middle of both of their anger
All three men are upscale French (no accent), comic characters with a sense of style, all ethnicities
encouraged to apply - will likely cast diverse cast.

“THE GARBAGOLISTS”

Marlowe – Female, late 30s. Black. First week at Department of Sanitation New York, Confident and
competent, both physically and mentally. Keen sense of wit and irony. Ivy League grad. Guarding a
secret, she doesn’t wear on her sleeve. Great comic timing.
Danny – Male. 41 White. Nine years at Department of Sanitation New York. Run of the mill machismo,
masking a desire to love and be loved. – Ruggedly handsome. Great comic timing.

“A TUNA CHRISTMAS”

rehearsing October 31 to November14 with a preview on November 15 and opening November 16
and closing December 30, 2023.
Performances Wednesdays through Saturdays wat 7:00 pm and matinees on Sundays at 3:00 pm.

Tracks: Two comic male characters who play numerous roles in a small town in Tuna, Texas. One
slender/one heavier – comfortable with fast changes and all ages and genders.
