BREAKDOWN

SYNPOSIS

Constellations is an innovative and captivating love story that defies time and space. The play explores the infinite paths that two people can take to be together or be apart. The play follows Roland, a beekeeper, and Marianne, a quantum physicist, who meet by chance, through the most unlikely romantic relationship. Their journey defies the limits of our understanding of a multiverse. The possibilities are limitless in parallel moments over the course of their relationship. Are they meant for each other, or will they explore other realms?

Their world embraces the concept of “what if” in the vast possibilities of a future within an expansive universe, where their shared love of honey could be the defining factor above all …

SEEKING:

ROLAND - 30-39, Male identifying. Any race and ethnicity. Roland is an easy-going, open-hearted and charming Beekeeper. He is very likeable, earnest, and good-humored. He is more constant, grounded and emotionally given than Marianne. He is more willing to be opened about how he feels and free to give and receive love. He has the ability with his softness and charm to bring out Marianne’s loving romantic side.

ALREADY CAST:

Marianne. (This Role is Cast) - 20-late 30s, Female identifying. Marianne is a Quantum Physicist. She is fascinated by science and the concept of the multiverse universe. She is highly intellectual and often explores the many questions of the multiverse. Marianne is a strong, good humored and enthusiastic person. She looks at life in a different way than others, not everyone has the depth of knowledge to be on her wavelength. She can be friendly, warm, quick-witted, and charming and kooky, quirky, and head-in-the clouds at times. She is a woman of reason, who prefers to rely on her intellect and science instead of letting go and getting emotionally involved.
