Being an adult sucks. Just when you think you have it all figured out the rules change. You get knocked up... You get married... You get divorced... A parent dies... UGH! Coffee and wine always save the day on this sometimes silly often chaotic journey through life. Then you kick the bucket.Join Winnie Wenglewick, owner of Dangerous Theatre, as she shares how her definition of being an adult has changed over the course of 50 years. This intimate show will include Winnie's favorite things: coffee, wine and food!Audience comment: "I write to thank you for yesterday's performance (and brunch; it was scrumptious). I was intrigued listening to you weave such a poignant personal narrative rife with life's lessons of hilarity and grief. You're an amiable conversationalist with a blustery tone like a force a nature. You have my heartfelt gratitude for baring such an intimate window into your life and providing a point of empathetic connection. I cried several times throughout your tale; [some elements] particularly resonated with me in its bitter familiarity. Although, I must gladly admit, I laughed more altogether.....Thank you again most sincerely for your candid performance and for your enduring efforts magically animating such a bustling hub of beloved decadent virtues (ironic only by conservative conventions), chief among them, engagement and enjoyment."This show will run October 5th -November 24th. The shows on Saturdays at 7pm and Sundays at 3pm include wine and appetizers. The Sunday 1pm show includes mimosas and brunch. Seating will be limited to 20 per show so advance ticket purchase or reservations are recommended. Table Seating Tickets are $15.00 for all shows, no general seating by donation will be available.Note: No shows on 10/27 @ 3:00 and 11/16.
