Yorkville Performing Arts Center

YPAC (Your Performing Arts Center) is a multi-disciplinary arts studio at 2161 State Route 47 in Yorkville, Illinois, now entering its 14th season and serving Kendall County. Alongside dance it teaches tumbling, music and theatre, with the stated aim of combining strong technique with character, creativity and community. Dance classes cover ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical and contemporary, while tumbling runs from basic strength-building work for the youngest students up to advanced skills. Conservatory tracks are available for students who want more: Conservatory Ballet students perform annually in The Nutcracker alongside professional dancers, and The Collective, YPAC's competitive dance team, attends dance competitions and conventions including NYCDA. Music offerings include private lessons, rock bands, show choir and a cappella, and the YPAC Theatre Company produces three shows a year plus a one-week summer theatre camp. YPAC is a founding member of the More Than Just Great Dancing affiliation program, and trial classes are offered to new students.
