Virtues In Motion (VIM) is a dance studio on Beaver Street in Yorkville, Illinois, voted best dance studio in Kendall County in the Best of the Fox readers' poll. It works with dancers from toddlers taking their first steps to advanced competitive performers, aiming to build confidence and community alongside technique. Classes span ballet, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, jazz fusion, tap, hip hop, breakdancing, ballroom, tumbling, acrobatics and musical theatre, plus preschool dance and creative movement, high school dance and poms, a boys-only hip hop and breakdancing class, and adult hip hop, ballroom and Pilates. Private lessons, drop-ins and pop-up master classes are available, along with a company, an annual recital and parties. A first class is free.
