The Studio of Dance LLC

The Studio of Dance is a two-studio school at 9210 Wightman Road, Suite 130, Gaithersburg, Maryland, serving the Germantown and upper Montgomery County area. Its stated belief is that everyone should have a chance to learn to dance, 'whether you're 3 or 103', and it teaches children through adults. Both studios have professional floating floors, class sizes are capped, and students are placed by both age and ability after a first class rather than by age alone. Young dancers begin in combo classes - Twinkle Toes at 3/4, Demi Dancers and Advanced Combo - before moving into single-subject levelled classes. Teen and adult classes in ballet, jazz and tap are offered for beginner to intermediate dancers aged 15 and up. Teachers attend conventions and workshops through the year, and the studio runs recitals with age-appropriate choreography, music and costumes prepared during class time. Summer programs and mini intensives are also offered.
