ClancyWorks Dance Company is a contemporary modern dance company serving the Washington DC metropolitan area from offices at 930 Wayne Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland. Its choreography, led by Adrienne Clancy, is built on architectural partnering and explores human relationships, social issues, cultural identity and communication patterns, and its repertory is offered for theatrical presentations, festivals, university residencies and school assemblies. Beyond performance, the company runs Arts in Education after-school, residency and assembly programs for kindergarten through high school, higher education residencies, and community engagement work including open classes and the SOAR program for adults aged 55 and over.
