Studio Dans is a dance studio in the Maple Lawn area of Fulton, Maryland, serving Howard County. It opened in 2006 with 70 students and has grown to more than 600, moving in 2012 into a 5,800-square-foot facility with four studios with sprung floors, a dressing room and reception area. Multi-level classes run from classical ballet through jazz, contemporary, tap and hip hop for dancers of all ages and skill levels, with private lessons, weekly classes, summer camps and summer evening drop-in classes also offered, and registration handled through a family portal. The studio's stated mission is to instil proper dance technique, confidence, respect, social graces, discipline and performance skills, taking its guiding philosophy from arts educator Jacques d'Amboise.
Young Artists of America at Strathmore (YAA) is thrilled to announce the world premiere of The Circle of Life: The Songs of Tim Rice in Concert which will take place on March 12th, 2017 at 5:00pm at the Music Center at Strathmore.
