About this studio
The Academy of Performing Arts runs studios in Oak Creek and Franklin, Wisconsin, serving the Milwaukee and Racine area with dance, music and drama classes for ages 2 to 18 under the banner "where creativity builds confidence". The dance program runs a ten-month school-year schedule from September to June, grouped by age and grade: parent-and-tot and no-parent classes for ages 2-3 in six-week sessions, then age 3-4, K5-1st, 2nd-4th, 4th-6th and teen 12+ tracks, short themed intro sessions for ages 3-9, and six-week acro classes. Dancers perform in optional winter and spring showcases, and the academy fields competitive dance teams and an all-star poms team with May auditions. Free trial classes and birthday parties are offered.
