Springfield Dance

Springfield Dance is a dance studio at 5531 International Parkway in Springfield, Illinois, teaching toddlers through adults. Its curriculum-based, technique-driven classes cover ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, tumbling, acro and aerial silks, taught by certified instructors. Classes for toddlers to age 7 are built around imagination, storytelling and themes, while dancers aged 7 and up work on technique within themed sessions. Alongside the full season the studio runs summer classes, short-term sessions with no long-term commitment (recent offerings included adult tap, adult silks, line dancing and children's ballet), the Beyond the Barre program, a Center Stage Club and birthday parties. Springfield Dance Theatre is its affiliated performing arm, and there are multiple performance opportunities through the year including an annual recital. Family discounts and flexible class options are offered, and prospective students can book a trial class. The studio is a member of the Dance Studio Owners Association.
