About this studio
Saugerties Ballet Center is a school in the village of Saugerties, New York, describing itself as "ballet and much more" and framing its teaching around the joy of movement, poise, self-discipline, creativity and healthy self-esteem as a foundation for a child's life. Classical ballet and pointe form the core of the curriculum, supported by tap and jazz classes and a "Beyond Ballet" modern and creative dance track. The center also runs periodic workshops and offers private instruction alongside its group program, plus summer camps and classes. The school year is organized in seasons: the 2026 autumn term runs 14 September to 19 December, with registration opening 10 August. Studios are open Monday to Saturday.
