Mobile Ballet Inc

Mobile Ballet is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1987 that operates both a ballet school and a performing company in the greater Mobile, Alabama area, with studios on Downtowner Loop North in Mobile and Equity Drive in Daphne. Its mission is to provide dance education, present quality performances and promote ballet to the community. The school offers classical ballet training as its core alongside other dance programs, an Academy track, adult dance programs and summer programs, serving recreational students and those pursuing professional careers alike. Under artistic director Katia Garza, students have been accepted to summer intensives with American Ballet Theatre, the School of American Ballet, Boston Ballet, Houston Ballet and the Joffrey Ballet. All students perform, whether in the annual Nutcracker, company productions at the Mobile Civic Center, the Nutcracker Charity Ball or the year-end showcase. Community outreach includes the Discover Dance and Share the Dance programs.
