MashUp Contemporary Dance Company is a Los Angeles 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to the movement of female bodies and feminist ideas, celebrating and lifting feminist narratives through contemporary dance. Founded around 2010, it marked 15 years as an organization in 2025, when its programs reached more than 700 people across three LA neighborhoods and featured work by 43 female-identifying and non-binary choreographers involving over 130 artists. Annual programming includes the International Women's Day Dance Festival with an accompanying dance film festival, the National Women's Equality Day Choreographic Residency, and community Choreography Open Mic Nights.
