Jones Becky School of Dance

Becky Jones School of Dance was established in Smyrna, Georgia in 1972 by founder Becky Jones, who ran the school for 50 years on a foundation of dance, family and community outreach; it is now owned by Genevieve Crupie and continues to serve Smyrna and surrounding areas. The school offers a wide range of classes for varying levels, with faculty specializing in tap, ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, acrobatics, musical theatre and lyrical, including a certified acrobatics instructor. Studios feature sprung marley flooring, ballet barres, mirrors and tumbling equipment. Alongside its annual recreational recital classes, the school is home to the BJSD Showstoppers, a competitive dance company that performs at local community events and regional competitions, with a dedicated competition team director and a competitive hip hop director. Summer programming is also offered, and a 2026-2027 recital class schedule is published.
