Atlanta Dance Central

Atlanta Dance Central is a dance school in Roswell, Georgia operating under the motto "we educate to empower". It describes a deliberate approach to dance education in which classrooms are body-positive and affirming spaces, the curriculum is designed to complement social and psychological development, and technical excellence sits alongside leadership, creativity and confidence. Classes are grouped by age, running from a five-week introductory program for ages 2 to 5, through separate tracks for ages 3-4, 5, 6-7, 8-10, 11-13 and 13-18. Styles taught include ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, hip hop, acrobatics, aerial silks and capoeira, and the school also offers Physio Jazz adaptive dance for dancers with disabilities and an Atlanta Rising Talent program. Extras include private lessons, wedding dance lessons, open dance days, parties, a student teaching track, student choreography and a 10-week mentorship program. Summer camps run each year and a free first trial class is advertised, along with scholarships.
