About this studio
Colton Ballet School is a classical ballet school at 2941 Walton Way in Augusta, Georgia, directed by Zanne Colton and Bon Ellis with Ron Colton as director emeritus. Established to train students of the Central Savannah River Area in the art of dance, it is the official school of the Colton Ballet Company. It has professionally trained staff and purpose-built floors, and takes students from beginning ballet to professional level. The curriculum starts at age 4 across three divisions: a Primary Division with Creative Movement for 4-5 year olds and Pre-Ballet for 6-7 year olds; an Elementary Division of graded ballet requiring at least two classes a week; and an Advanced Division where pointe work is introduced and intensified.
