About this studio
Trading as Atlanta Irish Dance by Burke Connolly, this school teaches Irish dancing to children and adults from a main studio on Faulkner Road in Atlanta plus six other metro Atlanta locations, including The Georgia Ballet in Marietta, Saint Jude the Apostle, St. Thomas More and The Peach Pit. Its tagline is "Traditional dance to a modern beat", and students come from Morningside, Virginia Highland, Buckhead, Decatur, Grant Park, East Atlanta, Brookhaven, Marietta, Smyrna and other intown neighborhoods. Classes run from Little Tots for ages 3 and 4 through beginner classes, championship-level classes and an adult Irish dance program. The school's dancers have placed as North American and regional champions and taken third at the World Championships. It also offers summer camps, birthday parties, a bring-a-friend week and school culture day presentations.
