Boston Landmarks Orchestra, under the direction of Music Director Christopher Wilkins, brings its annual summer series of free, live orchestral concerts to the iconic DCR Hatch Memorial Shell on the Esplanade, with a special focus on concerts in Dorchester, Roxbury, Hyde Square, and Chelsea.

Belonging and Othering, a new work by beheard.world, will be on stage at The Dance Complex in Cambridge June 10 and 11, the fourth presentation this season as part of The Dance Complex's BLOOM Residency and Platform Raising Program. beheard.world is a racially diverse collective of Boston performing artists, filmmakers and educators committed to utilizing the arts to make positive change.     

Pat Catterson and Molissa Fenley, two of the seminal figures in modern dance, will present a collaborative program titled Taking the Long View at The Dance Complex on Saturday and Sunday April 15-16.  

The folkloric tradition and rhythms of Haiti come alive at The Dance Complex on April 1-2 when Jean Appolon Expressions (JEA) presents Tyaka.

The Dance Complex launches its pilot season of the BLOOM Residency and Platform-Raising Program with performances March 11-12 by Boston Dance Theatre and Khambatta Dance Company from Seattle.

The Dance Complex continues its 30th Anniversary season with a diverse schedule of performances that range from a solo dance/theatre work exploring the history of 20th-century fem/butch lesbian bars and a contemporary dance company with roots in Haitian culture to urban street dance and flamenco.

Frank Baum's beloved The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, The Wiz combines fairy-tale glamour with street smarts to make a classic fantasy sparkle for today.  And our directors and choreographer will bring a blast of New Orleans Creole magic to this production!  Winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Score, The Wiz ingeniously mixes rock, gospel, soul, and jazz, and features hits like 'Ease on Down the Road,' 'A Brand New Day,' and 'Home.'

OBERON, the American Repertory Theater's (A.R.T.) second stage and club-theater venue on the fringe of Harvard Square, announces events to be presented at OBERON during December 2017 and January 2018 - including Live @ OBERON, OBERON Presents, Glowberon, and usual suspects.

Celebrity Series of Boston kicks off a four-month salute to the 50th anniversary of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's 1968 Boston premiere with a December 6 event that features Ailey Artistic Director Emerita Judith Jamison and key members of Boston's arts and dance community. The symposium takes place at John Hancock Hall, where the company made its Boston debut with Jamison as a company member.
