About this studio
Great Gig DANCE Co. is a dance studio at 4200 Wade Green Road in Kennesaw, Georgia, teaching dancers from preschool age through adult. Its program is age-graded: a preschool class for ages 3 to 4 and a primary class for ages 5 to 6 combine tap, ballet and creative movement to build coordination, rhythm and classroom skills; secondary (7 to 9) and intermediate (10 to 12) classes focus on tap and jazz technique; and teen classes for ages 13 to 18 cover ballet, contemporary, hip hop and tap/jazz. Ballet classes work on placement, technique and terminology, with pointe work at advanced levels, and adult classes run at four levels in tap, jazz, contemporary and hip hop. The studio also has a performing Ensemble, and describes itself as a community that emphasises encouraging instruction and building confidence.
