About this studio
Evolution Dance Experience is a studio in Elmhurst, Illinois that teaches students from 18 months old through adults in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, modern, musical theatre and hip hop, at levels from beginner to advanced. Programming is split between recital classes, non-recital classes taken purely for enjoyment, technique classes for ages 9 and up, and competitive and performance companies, alongside adult dance and exercise classes and a monthly adults-only Bad Moms dance series. Early childhood classes run 45 minutes for ages 3 to 6 and older students take hour-long classes, with drop-ins available. The studio emphasises age-appropriate material, technique and showmanship in a nurturing environment, and is a member of Youth Protection Advocates in Dance (YPAD). An annual recital is held each June.
