Trinity Academy of Irish Dance Corp

Trinity Irish Dance Academy, founded by Mark Howard in 1982 and administered from Elmhurst, Illinois, teaches Irish dance across nine locations in the Chicago area (Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Northwest Side, Elmhurst, Palatine and Western Springs) plus Madison and Milwaukee in Wisconsin. Over more than 40 years it has taught upwards of 10,000 students and describes itself as the most widely recognized Irish dance program in the world. Teaching follows the Trinity Method, a balanced approach built around solo, team and performance programming that lets dancers progress at their own pace. The academy won America's first world championship team title in 1987 and went on to take gold for the United States in all three team categories. Its dancers have appeared on The Tonight Show and CONAN and it maintains an affiliated professional touring company. Free trial classes are offered at all locations, along with three-day Taste of Trinity summer camps in July and autumn enrollment.
