Alice DePass Studio of Dance is at 1041 Park Drive in Watkinsville, Georgia, serving the Athens area under the motto 'the discipline of dance in an atmosphere of grace and wonder'. Ballet is the core of the curriculum, running from a studio-original My Chance to Dance class for ages 2.5-3.5 that uses games, stories and songs, through pre-ballet and ballet/tap combination classes, age-divided ballet for ages 5-14, levelled technique classes for ages 7 and up, and intermediate levels where students may add pointe with the instructor's permission. It also teaches tap from age 4 through advanced levels, pop jazz and jazz, lyrical, and musical theatre for ages 6-9 covering Broadway-style choreography and acting. Open adult ballet (for those with previous experience) and open adult tap classes are offered. Students take part in a Parents' Observation Week and a Spring Recital.
