About this studio
Dancyn Studio is a dance school at 5383 Camden Ave in San Jose, California, opened in 2004 by owner and teacher Cindy Kopacz and run with her sister Michelle. It teaches all levels, ages and abilities from beginner through professional, with classes for ages 18 months to adult. The progression starts with Mommy & Me music and movement for 18 months to 2 years, moves through Tap/Ballet for 2 to 3 year olds and graded Combo classes for 3.5 to 5.5 year olds, then into levelled tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, lyrical and contemporary technique classes. Performance options include invite-only company groups such as Tiny Stars, which competes at novice level, and a College/Pro Prep jazz class for high school seniors auditioning for college or professional teams. The studio holds a recital each June.
