Lineup Announced For 7th Annual Fort Worth Fringe
The 7th Annual FW Fringe returns to the theatres of the Fort Worth Community Arts Center in the Fort Worth Cultural District.
Dance classes in Greensboro, North Carolina
Dance Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit in Greensboro, North Carolina, founded by the late choreographer Jan Van Dyke and now in its fourth decade of cultivating modern dance across the state. It has four arms: The School, a community dance studio on the third floor of the Greensboro Cultural Center at 200 N. Davie Street; the NC Dance Festival, a statewide tour of North Carolina choreography; outreach programming offering free and low-cost classes in community settings; and the Van Dyke Dance Group. Youth classes run by semester for ages 18 months to 18 years, beginning with Dancing with Tots and Creative Movement and progressing through graded ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip hop and musical theatre, while adults drop in to any 13+ class or buy multi-class passes. Performance companies run at Mini, Junior, Teen, Adult and Rise pre-professional levels, and there are private lessons, a Pre/Professional Intensive, birthday parties, free Parkinson's dance classes, need-based scholarships and a Spring Showcase.
