About this studio
Ultimate Kids, known locally as the Home of Tumblebees, is a children's activity center in Greensboro, North Carolina that has been running recreational and competitive programs for around 40 years across three buildings on Downwind Road. Alongside gymnastics, trampoline and tumbling, diving, rock climbing, parkour and ninja warrior, it operates Ultimate Dance, a school of dance serving preschoolers through 12th grade. School-age offerings include Dancenastics, which splits a session between gym apparatus and dance; Glitter Stars, an introduction to tap and ballet; Shining and Rising Stars combination ballet, tap and jazz classes; and separate tap, hip hop and lyrical/jazz classes. Musical theatre, contemporary and an Academy Ballet track are also listed. The 2026-2027 session begins August 31, 2026, and all new and returning students must re-register each year.
