About this studio
Creative Movement and Dance (CMD) is an on-site dance instruction company founded by Gina Burton in 1983 in Atlanta, Georgia, and now operating across Georgia, Florida and South Carolina from a corporate office in Sugar Hill, GA. CMD deliberately has no studio of its own: instructors travel to hundreds of child-care facilities, churches, parks and recreation departments and elementary after-school sites to teach classes on location, which the company presents as studio-quality instruction at lower cost and without evening or weekend travel for families. Its stated mission is creative movement for children 18-36 months with their parents and dance instruction for ages three and up.
