About this studio
Compass Dance Academy is a non-profit 501(c)(3) dance studio at 876 Senoia Road in Tyrone, Georgia, directed by Linda Wells. It trains dancers from age three upward, with levelled classes in ballet, pointe, tap, modern, contemporary, creative movement and hip-hop, plus a separate adult program. Its Ensemble Groups are for committed young dancers who take multiple classes a week and receive training in ballet, tap, modern and contemporary along with summer intensives and expanded performance opportunities. It is explicitly faith-informed, describing an aim to promote excellence, affirmation and freedom of body, mind and soul through dance, and accepts tax-deductible donations.
