Collage Dance Collective Inc

Collage Dance is a Memphis-based professional ballet company and school at 505 Tillman Street, founded in 2006 and now in its 17th season, with a stated mission of inspiring the growth and diversity of ballet. The organization has three arms. The professional company performs locally at venues such as Playhouse on the Square and tours nationally. The Collage Dance Conservatory trains dancers from ages 2 to 18 in ballet, jazz, tap, creative movement and West African dance in a nurturing, focused environment, with tuition scholarships available, an annual student concert and two-week pre-professional summer intensives. The Continuum offers adult programming, including drop-in daytime classes in ballet, jazz, tap and contemporary in a non-competitive setting and six-week introductory courses for adults with no prior dance training - the studio describes its reach as spanning ages 2 to 92. The Collage Dance Center also hosts event and studio rentals, alongside community engagement programs and an annual gala.
