THE OTHER PLACE focuses on Juliana, a successful neurologist on the verge of a potential breakthrough whose life takes a disorienting turn. During a lecture to colleagues at an exclusive medical conference, she spots a mysterious young woman in a yellow bikini amidst the crowd of business suits. But in this brilliantly crafted play, nothing is as it seems. Piece by piece, a mystery unfolds and the elusive truth boils to the surface. Secrets unravel as blurred reality and fragmented memories collide in a cottage on the windswept shores of Cape Cod.
A brilliant and distressed scientist serves as our narrator in this superb play that is a thriller wrapped in a mystery disguised as a memoir. You’ll be on the edge of your seat in this gripping tour de force.
Broadwayworld Cleveland's Roy Berko recognizes each year local theaters, performances, writers, performers and technicians of plays staged by area professional theaters during the January 1-December 31 year.
