The Wiggles Come to Playhouse Square

The Wiggles are proud to announce their biggest U.S. tour in nearly a decade. The Wiggle's Party Time Tour! will support their new Party Time! album, which releases on June 28th. The tour will arrive in Cleveland on Tuesday, August 27 for a 6:30 PM show at the Connor Palace.

Today, The Cleveland Orchestra announced program details for the 30th annual free community concert in downtown Cleveland. The Star-Spangled Spectacular, brought to you by Cuyahoga Arts & Culture and sponsored by KeyBank, will take place rain or shine on Wednesday, August 7 at 9:00 p.m. While this annual tradition typically takes place around Independence Day, this free family event will continue the community celebration in August due to the 2019 Major League Baseball All-Star Game / Play Ball Park activities throughout Downtown Cleveland in early July. This year's concert will be held on Cleveland's spacious Mall B, located at 300 St. Clair Avenue between the Global Center for Health Innovation and Cleveland Public Auditorium. This annual concert celebrates our nation and our incredible Northeast Ohio community with music performed by The Cleveland Orchestra.

Campus will host a discussion on Friday, May 31, with one of the founders of the annual Burning Man festival, an event that draws more than 70,000 people to the Black Rock Desert in Nevada for a week of creative expression, at a fundraising event to support the renovation of the campus. The event, "The Art of Community: A Discussion with Burning Man Co-Founder Michael Mikel," is a unique opportunity to learn about the "10 Principles of Burning Man" and how they can apply to permanent communities and placemaking.

The production will be performed in the company's intimate home at the Hanna Theatre, Playhouse Square, May 3-26, 2019. Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra Announces European Tour 2019

The Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra (COYO) will make a seven day, four concert tour to Europe this spring with COYO Music Director Vinay Parameswaran, who also serves as assistant conductor of The Cleveland Orchestra. The ensemble will perform a program featuring Brahms, Bartok, and Adams in Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary from June 12-19, 2019. These performances mark the third international tour in COYO's 33-year history.
