A Broadway League Foundation revelou os 58 Programas Regionais de Premiação participantes para a 17ª edição anual dos Prêmios Jimmy que acontecerá na segunda-feira, 22 de junho de 2026, às 19h30, no Minskoff Theatre da Broadway.
Os Prêmios Jimmy são uma vitrine nacional de talentos que celebra alunos de ensino médio do teatro musical de todo o país. Cada Programa Regional de Premiação participante concederá as principais honrarias a dois artistas locais e patrocinará sua viagem para Nova York para participar do The National High School Musical Theatre Awards, culminando na cerimônia anual dos Prêmios Jimmy, ao vivo em um palco da Broadway e transmitido ao vivo pelo canal do YouTube dos Prêmios Jimmy.
Na cerimônia, um painel de juízes concederá vários prêmios e bolsas de estudo, incluindo os prêmios de Melhor Performance por um Ator e Melhor Performance por uma Atriz. Os Prêmios Jimmy são líderes do setor na projeção do futuro da performance ao vivo, com mais de 90 ex-alunos tendo atuado na Broadway e em turnês nacionais, e muitos outros desfrutando de carreiras robustas em filmes, televisão e música.
