Ruth Page Center for the Arts is proud to announce its annual Ruth Page Legacy Gala, Friday, May 8 at 6 p.m., beginning at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, 1016 N. Dearborn St. and continued at the Chicago History Museum, 1601 N. Clark St. Celebrating the continuing legacy of Ruth Page in an evening filled with engaging company, elegant dining and exceptional entertainment including the presentation of the Ruth Page Award to Chicago-based dancer, choreographer, educator and arts advocate, Julie Burman Kaplan.
The Legacy Gala is the Ruth Page Center’s premier fundraising event supporting Ruth Page Center’s education, artistic and outreach programs. The Legacy Gala begins at the Ruth Page Center with dance performances and the Ruth Page Award presentation. Trolley transport then brings guests to the Chicago History Museum for passed hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, dinner, dessert, dancing and celebration. At the museum, there will be exclusive access to two museum exhibits as well as live music by the Darryl Materre Quartet and beats by DJ Lady D. Complimentary car valet is available at the Chicago History Museum.
Advanced single tickets are now on sale for $250 with sponsorship and tables available at RuthPage.org.
