La Broadway League Foundation ha rivelato i 58 Programmi di Premi Regionali partecipanti per la 17ª edizione annuale dei Jimmy Awards che si terrà lunedì 22 giugno 2026 alle 19:30 al Minskoff Theatre di Broadway.
I Jimmy Awards sono la vetrina nazionale dei talenti che celebra studenti di musical a livello di scuole superiori da tutto il paese. Ogni programma di premi regionali partecipante assegnerà i massimi riconoscimenti a due studenti performer locali e sponsorizzerà il loro viaggio a New York City per partecipare ai National High School Musical Theatre Awards, culminando nella cerimonia annuale dei Jimmy Awards dal vivo su un palco di Broadway e trasmessa in streaming sul canale YouTube dei Jimmy Awards.
Durante la cerimonia, una giuria assegnerà diversi premi e borse di studio, compresi i premi per la Miglior Interpretazione di un Attore e la Miglior Interpretazione di un'Attrice. I Jimmy Awards sono un leader del settore nel tracciare il futuro della performance dal vivo, con oltre 90 ex alunni che hanno recitato a Broadway e in tour nazionali, e molti altri che godono di carriere di successo nel cinema, televisione e musica.
