Holiday 2025 – A Live Old Time Holiday Radio Show

Barrington, IL — Parker Players Theater Company invites audiences to step back into a 1940s holiday broadcast with Holiday 2025 – A Live Old Time Holiday Radio Show, featuring two beloved radio comedies performed live on stage:

• Fibber McGee & Molly: “Fibber Paints a Christmas Tree” – When Fibber’s decorating enthusiasm gets the best of him, hilarity ensues.

• The Jack Benny Program: “Jack Benny Buys Shoelaces for Don” – A simple shopping trip turns into a comic adventure of penny-pinching and misunderstandings.

Directed by Julie Price, the production recreates the excitement of a vintage radio studio—complete with live Foley sound effects, retro costumes, and the glow of a holiday broadcast.
