The Winter's Tale is directed by CST Artistic Director Edward Hall and performed in repertory alongside A Midsummer Night's Dream by a single company of 14 actors, a first in CST's history. King Leontes is consumed by jealousy over his pregnant wife Hermione, sending the story on a fairy tale journey from Sicilia to Bohemia involving shipwrecks, bears, and magic oracles. The production explores themes of betrayal, forgiveness, and redemption. Audiences can experience both repertory productions in a single day on select dates.
