Originally founded by Dole Roxy, The Church of Modern Love is comprised of people centered around one simple idea: “You Deserve To Be Loved.”. and they sing and dance in worship via a rock concert and continue to thrive, even after Dole’s death (along with other members) in a fire in 1991.
Today, the church is stronger than ever; full of devout members who gather to honor Jenna, their savior. During the final phase of this audience’s “self search,” church members and leaders begin to unravel the world they built for themselves, and wonder why they joined in the first place.
The Church of Modern Love offers an immersive experience for the audience: As they enter the theater, they are members of the church.
