Live theatre returns as the IVCC Theatre Department is stepping out....literally, with Steppin' Out! Broadway Under the Stars! on the concert lawn of the Hegeler Carus Mansion.
Featuring a large cast of community members, alumni, and students, Steppin' Out is a fast-moving, up-tempo, upbeat celebration of Broadway's best, with multi-talented singers and dancers performing signature songs from classic through contemporary show tunes.
We do have a few rules for this outdoor show, playing on the grounds of the Hegeler Carus Mansion in LaSalle IL:
- All guests must wear masks in common areas (entrance, moving through audience, etc).
- Please observe all spacing requirements when in common areas.- Your party (up to 8 people) will be seated in clearly marked circles on the lawn. Once in the circle, guests-may at their own discretion-remove face masks.
- Guests must provide their own lawn chairs.
- The Grounds will open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
- Guests are welcome to bring drinks (both alcoholic and non), appetizers, or even light picnics.
- Please no smoking, vaping, candles, tiki torches, etc.
- Please respect this local National Historic Landmark.
