Play On! is a musical retelling of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night set to the jazz songs of Duke Ellington, conceived and directed by Sheldon Epps with book by Cheryl L. West. Aspiring songwriter Vy travels to Harlem in the 1930s, disguises herself to reach renowned band leader the Duke, and finds herself caught in a web of mistaken identities and romance. The production features Ellington hits including "It Don't Mean a Thing" and "Don't Get Around Much Anymore." It is presented in association with MMaxwellMedia, WMK Productions, Alyssa Melani, and The Classical Theatre of Harlem.
