One Man, Two Guvnors, written by Richard Bean and based on Carlo Goldoni's The Servant of Two Masters, is directed by Ensemble member Connie Canaday Howard. Set in the bright, brash world of seaside Brighton in 1963, the play follows the perpetually hungry Francis Henshall, who accidentally finds himself employed by two men — a fearsome gangster and a criminal on the run. To keep his double-dealing a secret, Henshall must juggle both employers, chase a decent meal and win the girl. The production features music by Grant Olding with lyrics by Bean and Olding.
