Leopoldstadt is a sweeping yet intimate semi-autobiographical play written by Tom Stoppard, directed by Carey Perloff in her Writers Theatre debut. The production features a 29-member ensemble of Chicago actors and includes script revisions made by Stoppard and Perloff expressly for this staging. It is the final play from one of the era's greatest playwrights and the largest production in Writers Theatre history.
